I’m Jaimie Stettin, a New Yorker who has been living and working in Paris for over a decade.

I’m a writer.

But I’m a reader first.

That means I read you, your needs, the room. I read broadly and between the lines. I do that because I am a person who is deeply attentive and voraciously curious. Maybe that’s two too many adverbs. Maybe that’s just right.

As a freelance copywriter and consultant, I can develop or sharpen your brand’s tone of voice. I can conceptualize campaign ideas, draft manifestos, name products and write all manner of content, from social media posts to taglines, and from newsletters to video scripts. I also translate and transcreate from French to English with a focus on content and meaning.

I work across sectors and industries, with agencies and directly with clients. I have copywriting experience in tech, luxury & beauty, wine & spirits and beyond, and I always love diving into something new.
